this has been a good few weeks for me and games... so many games, so little time :) the thing that has been sucking up most of my time the last week or so is "Silent Storm"... if you happen to be one of the JA fans from back in the day and HAVENT played this yet, i cant say strongly enough: GO BUY THIS GAME! RIGHT NOW! yes, it really is that good... in fact, id say it kicks the crap out of JA2 in every respect, except for setting... i am SO SICK of WW1/WW2 games... message to the game design world: CUT IT OUT! there were wars in OTHER time periods, how about we give THOSE a shot for a change, huh?

id give my left nut (no great loss, it isnt getting used anyway) for a modern version of Silent Storm...

another mostly great one taking up my time is "Onimusha 3"... although the most amazing thing about this game isnt the gameplay or the cool weapons or whatever... its the fact that Capcom finally pulled their head out of their ass and joined the 21st century! thats right, a first for the series, ANALOG CONTROL! whoa buddy, look out, its a revolution man! except that the revolution was over years ago and capcom just now discovered it... and to pile innovation on top of innovation, your character actually moves in the direction you push the stick! holy shit capcom, you got a clue! now if only you could apply the same cluefulness to the resident evil games, i might actually buy one of those too...
