i typically run across random interesting shit in my rss reader that id like to comment on, but it often doesnt warrant a full blog post. in the past, ive either just declined to bother, or ive made a tiny blog entry with a sentence or two and a link. both irritate me, because i WANT to say a little something, but at the same time, i dont like cluttering things up with filler posts.

so now im trying to have my cake and eat it too... ive added a link to the menu called "random interesting shit"... this will take you to my google reader "shared items" page, which has little tidbits from here and there that are funny, informative, or just mildly interesting for one reason or another... sometimes with a little comment from me, and other times not.

it has its own rss feed, ot you can get on my google friends list if you want it to show up in google reader. you can also (i think) comment on them yourself if youre on my list.

this way i can save the blog for my opinions and rants, or for pointing out shit that i think is at least a little bit important.
