In trying to figure out why this was so funny, I noted that 50% is probably due to the premise that they are in a library and required to be quiet. While that part is obvious, the underlying tension, created by the graciousness of the anonymous public in the library, is not. You KNOW they are irritated at the noise, but no one says anything. As the people playing the game get louder and louder, the tension builds as you expect, almost subconsciously, that someone is going to tell them to "shut the hell up!" But we are distracted from that by wondering who is going to draw the punishment card, and what the punishment will be.
Pretty ingenious to have the game setting play such a huge role in how funny the game is.

maybe so, all i know is it was fucking hysterical... i swear i laughed the whole way through it. part of it is the infectious nature of watching those guys trying so hard not to laugh, and busting a gut anyway...
and that poor guy that drew the skull like 3 times in a row... man ive had days like that :)
