after watching the "Return to Tarawa" documentary (see prior post) i was so disgusted and pissed off that i contacted Leon Cooper to find out where i could send donations, or how i could help. his response:

To help..ask your friends and relatives to ask their friends and relatives to write to their representatives in Congress, demanding that the Department of Defense send teams to identify and recover the remains of thousands of Americans who still lie where they fell--in Papua New Guinea, in the Philippines, in the Solomons. In the Marianas and in Tarawa.
Please help me and many others who are demanding long overdue action by our government.
