ok so its been like, 5 episodes of Castle i think... and through the first 4 episodes ive enjoyed the show so far, but it hadnt really jumped out and GRABBED me... it was the kind of show i liked, and made an effort to watch, but didnt feel like i just HAD to watch it every week as soon as it aired.

well, i just finished the 5th episode and... ok, its grabbed me. this was by far the best-written, best-acted episode so far... the cast has settled into their characters, and the interplay between the principle characters, the bit characters, and everything else just totally gelled. and now i cant wait to watch it :)

if you havent watched it yet, this last episode would be a good place to start. you wont have missed any continuity or anything beyond the thinest bit of mcguffinry required to explain why it is an author is running around with a cop solving murders.

seriously. watch it. you wont be sorry.
