i finally replaced my crappy old CRT monitor... and damn, am i ever happy with my new one... i got a 22" widescreen LCD complete with HDCP in anticipation of my new vista pc that ill be building over the next few weeks...

the awesomeness of having the wider screen simply cannot be overstated... its like having two monitors, without the annoying gap between them from the bezels... if youve been holding out on getting a new LCD widescreen, i highly recommend this one. ive purchased and returned 4 other LCDs over the last few years because the image quality was shitty, or the color quality was shitty, or it had dead pixels out of the box, or the response time was too slow to play games on without a lot of ugly tearing and ghosting... but this one has none of those problems. its pretty no-frills, but for $290, what do you expect? if you just want a great-looking monitor on the cheap without a lot of extras youll prolly never use anyway, this is a great deal.
