im about 2/3s of the way through what has to be one of the best books I've read in recent memory, "Battle Royale" by Koushun Takami. its been a loooong time since ive had a book that would keep me up until 2am on a work night, just because i couldnt put it down... its been like that the last 3 days, im dead on my feet... hell, i almost called in sick yesterday just so i could finish the book... and now that i think about it, im not sure ive EVER done that for a book...

but then, i hate my job, so it doesnt take much to make me want to skip...
